November 9, 2007 - Shop with a Cop program underway in Blairsville, Georgia
The Shop with a Cop program is currently underway in Blairsville, Georgia with participants actively collecting donations from businesses and individuals in Union County . The Blairsville Police Department, Chief Johnny Carroll, and the Blairsville Cruisers are getting ready for lots of Christmas shopping and it's time for everyone to open their hearts and pocketbooks.
Blairsville Police Chief Johnny Carroll recently met with Blairsville Cruisers' Chairman Frank Iacobucci and Cruisers' President Wayne Tanner to discuss details of the Shop with a Cop program. As Christmas approaches, children will get to go on a shopping spree with local policemen. The kids will buy presents for themselves and for their family members depending on individual circumstances.
Several local Union County businesses have already donated to the Shop with a Cop program and their support is greatly appreciated. With the generosity of local citizens, many more children can have their Christmas wishes come true. Thank you in advance for your contribution to the Union County "Shop with a Cop" Program.
