November 14, 2008 - Paws, Claws, and Tails Too has health food for pets

Paws, Claws, and Tails Too - Pet Boutique and Grooming is now open for business in Young Harris, Georgia. An all natural food store for pets, the boutique offers health food for pets, complete grooming services, and lots of interesting merchandise to the people and pets in Towns County.

Paws, Claws, and Tails has hundreds of things for your pets including airline approved pet carriers, car seats, clothing, hats, jewelry, harnesses, collars, feeding dishes, strollers, beds, grooming supplies, skin treatments, gourmet all-natural pet foods, treats, vitamin supplements, toys, and Christmas gifts.

Owner Carol Gold is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She says, "I went from helping people to helping their pets. If you feed your pet healthy food, you will save on vet bills."

She goes on to explain, "Low priced foods contain fillers which can cause harm to pets over their lifetime. If cellulose is listed as an ingredient, you are buying cheap ground up peanut shells or soybean hulls. Harmful chemicals are also found in lower priced food. Natural, holistic foods contain no fillers or by-products. They are much more nutritious and easier on the digestion which puts less stress on internal organs. With quality food, you don't feed near as much and that is a big plus, too."

Paws, Claws, and Tails carries popular brands of natural pet foods including Evangers, Nature's Variety Raw Food Diet, Prairie dry and canned food, Innova, Natural Balance, Canidae, Solid Gold, Merrick, and Dr. Harvey's Canine Health Oatmeal and Vegetable dog food.

Carol's two poodles are the store mascots. Both were adopted from pet rescue organizations. Carol says, "They didn't look like this when I got them. Now Tonya has them looking like show dogs."

Groomer Tonya Boyatt loves helping animals to look their best. She has over 25 years experience in the dog grooming business with many loyal followers. Tonya says, "I have one client that flies in to Georgia with his dogs just so I can groom them." Tonya grew up in the dog show world. She adds, "My mom, Gail Boyatt, is well known in the dog show world and also as a poodle breeder."

Assistant Bobbie Jo Weldon is in charge of the store and helps with the grooming, too. She says, "We have experience with all breeds of dogs and cats. We do everything from bathing and toenails to breed specific cuts and styling. We do it all depending on our customer's needs and requests."
