The Stables and Welcome Center at Brasstown Valley Resort in Young Harris, Georgia recently celebrated with a grand opening ceremony and luncheon. It was a special day for all that attended.

The new addition houses the Mercantile, a retail store designed with the look and feel of an old-fashioned western store. There is also a multi-purpose lounging area known as the Tack Room which features a big, welcoming fireplace. Two spacious porches with ample seating look out over the picture-perfect stable and riding areas. With all the amenities including thirty magnificent horses, what more could any equestrian want?

Bob Newsome, Executive Director, North Georgia Mountains Authority and Special assistant to the Commissioner, Ga. Dept. of Natural Resources gave a short speech. Next on the agenda was Bill Doyle, Vice President of Resort Operations, Coral Hospitality.
