McDonald's new building in Blairsville

June 19, 2010 - McDonald's is back in Blairsville, Georgia!

The Blairsville, Georgia McDonald's is back and open for business with a brand new building, new landscaping, new faces, and lots of grand re-opening activities. McDonald's of Blairsville has been busy, not just cooking up delicious hamburgers and fries, but also hosting a ribbon cutting, an open house, and a day of fun for the kids.

The highlight was a visit from the famous Ronald McDonald. Ronald's arrival brought cheers and applause from the waiting crowd. He greeted people with handshakes and a big smile. Kids were amazed to see this well-known character in person and up close. The little ones sat with rapt attention while he pulled rabbits from hats and performed other magic tricks.

The Union County restaurant is better than ever with a double drive thru, attractive seating, and new design elements. Training Manager Brendan Lawn, Operations Manager Kelly Schuknecht, Owner Operator Sharon Sackett, and Restaurant Manager Ric Hall are proud of all the improvements and welcome everyone to visit. As Ronald would say, "McDonalds! I'm lovin' it!"

McDonald's offers a full menu including sandwiches, salads, snacks, sides, desserts, shakes, and a McCafe bar with coffees, mochas, lattes, cappuccinos, and more. The restaurant is located at 19 Murphy Highway in Blairsville, Georgia near the intersection of Highway 76 and 515.
