February 4, 2016 - The AT&T Phone Store, The No. 1 Chinese Restaurant, and The Ingles Pharmacy have been robbed during the past week. This is shocking to the Blairsville community which rarely has to worry about robberies. Some citizens blame the economy, some blame the rise in heroin use, and others blame the new gambling casino located in Murphy, NC. Whatever the reason for the increase in crime, people need to pay attention to their surroundings and be alert to suspicious activity.
